Vision-guided
welding automation.

I’m Harrison Taggart, a coded welder with industrial and nuclear-sector experience. Arc Driven is my independent project to simplify robotic welding by letting operators mark weld paths directly onto components.

From a marked line to a welding path An illustrative vision field over a component, with a highlighted, gently curved C-shaped weld path. This is a concept diagram, not an image of the machine.

Demonstration video coming soon.

CNC V2

Proof of concept

A working three-axis TIG welding machine that uses computer vision to interpret user-drawn paths and execute automated welds.

V3

In development

The next step aims to combine computer vision and 3D sensing with a six-axis industrial robot for more complex welding trajectories.

Let’s connect.

Working in welding, robotics or industrial automation? I’d be glad to hear from you.
